Apple Could Lose iPhone Trademark In Brazil
By Jerry Carrion

Apple had a trouble in the past with some of its trademarks related to their iOS devices. Just recently they had an issue with the iPad trademark in China, and today it seems that Apple could face similar problems with the iPhone trademark in Brazil.

According to a recent report by Reuters, iPhone's trademark in Brazil is owned by a company called Gradiente Electronica SA. The trademark was registered by the company way back in 2000, which is seven years before apple launched the first iPhone. It seems that Gradiente Electronica SA is open to discussing the trademark for the iPhone in Brazil with Apple, whether Apple will decide to negotiate with them remains to be seen.
