Apple Plans to Remove Home Button on Incoming Devices
By Ricky Mauch

Rumors are circulating around mobile town that Apple is planning to remove the distinct home button on some of its devices, specifically the iPad and the highly-favored iPhone 4. This could mean that incoming next-generation iPads and iPhones will no longer feature the home button anymore. A trusted source commented, ?We have exclusively been told that the reason Apple just added multitouch gestures for the iPad in the latest iOS 4.3 beta is because the iPad will be losing the home button. Our source said Apple employees are already testing iPads and iPhones with no home buttons on the Apple campus, and it?s possible we will see this new change materialize with the next-generation iPad and iPhone devices set to launch this year.? It looks like the future will require us to rely solely on the multi-touch capabilities of the iPad and iPhone introduced in the new iOS 4.3 beta version. As Apple continues its never-ending innovation, many are in doubt that removing the home button will benefit the majority of Apple users. Source
