Apple Will Settle In App Purchase Lawsuit

Apple has finally agreed to settle a lawsuit regarding applications for its iOS devices that were aimed at kids which came with in app purchases. The parents were less than pleased about having large iTunes bills for the in app purchases for the apps.

The company agreed to stetle the lawsuit, which could end costing them quite a bit, and they are offering to pay the people a $5 iTunes credit to their account, and if the amount was more than $30 they will pay them in cash.

The original lawsuit was filed back way in 2011 by a number of parents who complained about the in app purchases being made in lots of free iOS games without their knowledge.
