Steve Jobs? Health Problems More Complex Than Expected
By Ricky Mauch

Is this another serious matter to look at. It's about Apple?s CEO Steve Jobs and his health problem. Will he finally retire and leave his glory days behind him sooner than planned? Following Steve?s leave of absence yesterday to settle his health problem are speculations on whether or not his condition is getting worse or better. The New York Times has reported that Steve Jobs was last seen to be very frail and unfortunately was missing out on some important milestones happening over at the Apple empire. To give you an idea how Mr. Jobs is doing, here?s his personal letter sent to his beloved employees: Team, I am sure all of you saw my letter last week sharing something very personal with the Apple community. Unfortunately, the curiosity over my personal health continues to be a distraction not only for me and my family, but everyone else at Apple as well. In addition, during the past week I have learned that my health-related issues are more complex than I originally thought. In order to take myself out of the limelight and focus on my health, and to allow everyone at Apple to focus on delivering extraordinary products, I have decided to take a medical leave of absence until the end of June. I have asked Tim Cook to be responsible for Apple?s day to day operations, and I know he and the rest of the executive management team will do a great job. As CEO, I plan to remain involved in major strategic decisions while I am out. Our board of directors fully supports this plan. I look forward to seeing all of you this summer. Steve Here?s another letter that Steve Jobs sent this morning to his associates: Team, At my request, the board of directors has granted me a medical leave of absence so I can focus on my health. I will continue as CEO and be involved in major strategic decisions for the company. I have asked Tim Cook to be responsible for all of Apple?s day to day operations. I have great confidence that Tim and the rest of the executive management team will do a terrific job executing the exciting plans we have in place for 2011. I love Apple so much and hope to be back as soon as I can. In the meantime, my family and I would deeply appreciate respect for our privacy. Steve So, is this some sort of a trade of destiny between Apple and its CEO? With the good wind blowing over at Apple?s side early this year, will the team be celebrating without their passionate leader and CEO around? Source
