The Blazing Apple A5 Next Generation Chipset Processor
By Ricky Mauch

You can probably still remember that Apple launched its first 1GHz A4 system chip or SoC together with the iPad last year. And just before we could breathe in and out for another hiatus, we heard about some rumors circulating around the mobile empire that Apple might release another powerful next generation processor very soon ? that will be alongside the iPad 2 of course. With news of the iPad 2 coming in probably next month, we can?t help but smile just at the thought of it. Rumored to be named as the Apple A5, the next-generation chip could be the successor of the Apple A4, an alleged hybrid combination of Samsung?s own ARM Cortex A8 CPU and the PowerVR SGX GPU. If you have no idea how fast this processor is, check out its performance on the iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4 and Apple TV. And what about the successor? The dual-core processor?s speed and performance on Apple?s incoming devices are unimaginable as of the moment. Source
